SEAGULL celebrates the first woman in space, Valentina Tereshkova, and her maiden space flight in 1963. 'Chaika', translated 'Seagull', her radio call sign for that flight, is individually hand signed by both Valentina Tereshkova, and the famous artist/cosmonaut, Alexei Leonov. Leonov gained early fame as the first human to walk in space in 1965. SEAGULL features the actual signatures of two Soviet cosmonaut 'firsts' on one print! An unusual offering.
